Valentine’s Day not go as planned? Viewers tell their disastrous date stories

OKLAHOMA CITY – When it comes to Valentine’s Day dates, they’re not always sweet.

However, NewsChannel 4 hopes to make it a little bit better with a necklace and earring set from Silver Leaf Gems.

The person with the worst Valentine’s Day date will also receive a dozen roses from Madeline’s Flowers and a dinner for two at Othello’s in Edmond.

Viewers are encouraged to vote for their favorite to choose the winner.

Dopey Date – Kat’s Story:

After months of emailing back and forth, Kat had a date for Valentine’s Day.

At the last-minute, her date called and said he needed a ride to the restaurant.

As Kat picked him up, she realized that he has been smoking marijuana.

During dinner, he excused himself from the table.

When Kat went outside, she found him making a drug deal outside the restaurant.

Hairy Situation- Sarah’s Story:

Sarah went on a date a few years ago and the guy wouldn’t stop staring at her.

When she asked why, he said, “The light in here looks like you have a five o’clock shadow. I was trying to figure out if you really did.”

Surprise ‘Engaygement’ – Nicole’s Story:

Nicole thought she was going to get a ring on Valentine’s Day.

Her boyfriend of six years sent her two dozen roses at work, but he didn’t pop the question.

He told Nicole that he’s gay and broke up with her over dinner.

By the end of the date, the waiter thought she was crying because her food was bad.
