KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KSHB) – Video released on Tuesday shows what happened when a lone gunman opened fire on a city bus last year, and police are hoping it may lead to an arrest.

The video shows a lone gunman waiting by an east side bus stop on the night of December 30th, then opening fire on a city bus; scattering passengers inside and seriously wounding a 15-year-old girl.

A Kansas City Police Department spokesman said investigators believe the girl’s boyfriend, seated beside her at the time of the shooting, was the shooter’s intended target.

No arrests have been made in connection to the shooting.
