He’s back!  “Weird Al” Yankovic is releasing a new music video every day for 8 days to promote his new album Mandatory Fun.

Monday’s parody was a spoof of Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” — called “Tacky”

Tuesday’s music video played off of Robin Thicke’s song  “Blurred Lines”.   Weird Al made a grammar-centric spoof called “World Crimes”.

Wednesday’s video parody is “Foil”, a spoof of Lorde’s “Royals”.

Friday’s video, the 5th song in the first week of Weird Al music videos for his new album Mandatory Fun, was something different from the other songs.  This one is a “Sports Song” – the first of the collection to appear without a direct parody of a song in mind.  The video was featured on Funny or Die.

Saturday’s video, the 6th song released,  is ‘First World Problems’.  The song spoofs tunes by The Pixies.

Sunday’s video was called ‘Lame Claim to Fame’ and spoofs Southern Culture on the Skids.

The final video released on the 2nd Monday of the promotion is titled ‘Mission Statement’.  This one parodies a popular Crosby, Stills & Nash tune.]
