Oklahoma native Corey Kent White covered a country music legend’s song on “The Voice” Monday night.

White sang George Strait’s song “Unwound,” trying to earn a Top 8 spot on the popular singing competition.

Although his coach, Blake Shelton, noticed that he flubbed a lyric, Shelton insisted White recovered like a pro.

The live results will air on KFOR at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 21.
