LOWER SAUCON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – It was a terrifying moment for students in Northampton County on Tuesday.

As the high school students from Wayne Valley High School were heading to a field trip, the school bus suddenly stalled along I-78.

Before the bus driver could drift to the side of the road, the students noticed a tractor-trailer headed straight for them.

According to WFMZ, the semi-truck side swiped the bus before crashing into another tractor-trailer.

In all, nine people were taken to the hospital, including five students.

Fortunately, it seems that the victims only suffered minor injuries.
