GLASSOCK COUNTY, Texas– The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, along with a number of Texas law enforcement agencies, destroyed about 20,000 pounds of confiscated fireworks over a three day period in rural Texas. The disposal gave local agencies’ bomb technicians valuable experience in handling the explosives.

The video, posted by The Midland Police Department, was shot during the day, but is still quite the spectacle.

The fireworks were destroyed under court order.
