DALLAS –  When you think about getting strong and fit, a lot of people head to the gym and some even go on a diet.

However, those actions may not be enough to earn you a spot on ‘American Ninja Warrior.’

Contestants are asked to complete a difficult obstacle course that tests your strength and concentration.

During the 2014 finals of the show in Dallas, one participant surprised everyone.

Kacy Catanzaro is 5’0″ tall and weighs just 100 pounds.

But the former gymnast made up for her small stature with her speed and agility.

“Are you not entertained?” one of the commentators said.

She finished the course in just under 9 minutes and became the first woman in history to qualify for the show’s “Mt. Midoriyama.”
