Scattered areas of heavy rain have formed across the Oklahoma City metro and areas to the west. Look for periods of heavy precip and occasional lightning along with wind gusts to 35 mph as storms move to the east at about 25 mph.

Elsewhere in the state, look for off and on rain showers to continue through the evening hours before clouds clear the entire state. Look for cool lows around 40 overnight.

We dry out for Sunday, warm up for Monday and then our big storm system moves in late Tuesday. Storms are likely Wednesday through early Thursday. Severe weather is possible late Wednesday through the overnight. For the time being, the Halloween trick or treating forecast is dry and mild.
