OKLAHOMA CITY - A chiropractor was arrested for the second time on the same charge.

It took the state one year and five months to file the official charge against Dr. Shandy Sells.

Sells is being charged with offering to engage in lewd acts.

Back in 2012, the victim told News Channel Four, "I asked him what he had in mind, and again he said, 'I'm a man. It's not rocket science.'"

The victim, who asked us to hide her identity, says doctor Sells asked for sex in exchange for his medical services.

"The way I felt that he was coming at me about it was I had no choice but to do this. I don't like feeling manipulated, nobody else likes feeling that way," said the patient.

Sells bonded out when police arrested him back in 2012 based on those allegations.

This May, police pulled him over for speeding.

The warrant showed up in the system, and they arrested him again.

Usually, it takes state prosecutors days or weeks to file charges on a case.

Attorneys say this case took longer to build.

The charge against Sells is now a misdemeanor.

His attorney, Ed Blau, says he plans to fight the allegations in court in the coming weeks.
