CARDIFF, Wales – A Welsh woman says it was easier to bury her husband than cancel his cell phone contract.

According to the The Telegraph, Maria Raybould’s husband died from cancer in August, but bill collectors are still calling because of his T-Mobile account.
Raybould says she even produced her husband’s death certificate and carried his ashes to a T-Mobile store in Wales.
However, that wasn’t good enough.
The cell phone provider still hit the 56-year-old with a cancellation fee and bill collectors.
She said store employees reassured her that everything would be taken care of, but a few days later the bills kept coming.
The Telegraph reports T-Mobile has apologized to Raybould for their mistake and says it happened because of a delayed automatic process.
They said in a statement: “We apologize to Mrs. Raybould for any distress caused at this difficult time. We can confirm that the account has been closed and the balance cleared.”
