PHOENIX, Ariz. – A woman is facing charges after allegedly running down her boyfriend following an argument.

The incident, which occurred on April 29, was captured on a business’ surveillance camera.

Police say Misty Lee Wilke is seen driving a red Mustang and slammed into a cyclist, who went airborne over the car and onto the pavement.

Eventually, the man was able to stumble to the sidewalk. Authorities say he suffered injuries but survived the attack.

Sources told KPNX that Wilke was the victim’s girlfriend at the time, but say she had just found out that he is HIV- positive.

Wilke was indicted on charges of attempting to commit second-degree murder, leaving the scene and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
