OKLAHOMA CITY – A woman walks away unharmed after her car bursts into flames.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. Thursday on Post Road between Hefner and Britton in Oklahoma City.

Investigators say the car had some kind of mechanical failure and a fire started in the front of the car.

By the time firefighters got there, the car was engulfed in flames.

The woman inside was able to escape.
