ROCHESTER, N.H. — A woman in New Hampshire got a big surprise at a Burger King drive-thru.
According to Fosters.com, after going through the drive-thru at Burger King, Janelle Jones discovered a bag full of money instead of the food she ordered.
Jones and her husband reportedly considered the possibility of keeping the $2,631, but decided to return the money to the rightful owners.
Jones’ husband, Matthew, said the employees of the store were thankful they returned it.
“It felt a lot better than keeping it,” said Matthew Jones.
The couple didn’t leave empty handed.
“A manager told me they would give me five free meals,” Janelle Jones said. “The manager said he talked to the corporate office and they said to tell me ‘thank you.’”
