NORMAN, Okla. — Hadley Wyatt was one of the injured victims in the tragic crash at the Homecoming parade in Stillwater over the weekend.

According to Facebook posts from her grandmother, Hadley suffered skin abrasions and road rash, and was required to get some stitches. But she is reportedly well on the road to recovery at OU Medical.

While she was in her hospital room Monday, Hadley had some surprise visitors. Mary Fallin and Burns Hargis had stopped by before, but it was an appearance by Thunder players Kyle Singler and Kevin Durant that really brightened the little girl’s day.

“You know how some people just brighten up your day? We love the hugest smile that came across Hadley’s face when Kevin Durant came to see her. Sorry Mary Fallin and Burns Hargis…Although it was so so Sooo Nice of you to come and we really truly were honored by your visit….ya just gotta learn to dunk,” Hadley’s grandmother, Tricia Wyatt, wrote in a Facebook post.

It seems like all the love and support in Hadley’s hospital room is truly appreciated by the young survivor.

“Hadley is doing great. Busy afternoon with Thunder, OSU sports teams, contacts from Pistol Pete’s and Miss Rodeo Oklahoma. Big smiles a lot this afternoon,” Tricia updated.

Hadley was released from OU Medical on Tuesday, Oct. 27, according to another post from her grandmother.

A GoFundMe account has been started for Hadley to cover her family’s medical expenses.
