OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Larry Heikkila has been elected Norman’s new mayor, defeating incumbent Breea Clark.

An unofficial vote count shows that Heikkila won 12,999 votes (53 percent) to Clark’s 11,346 votes (47 percent).

Also, two Edmond Public Schools Office races have been decided.

Courtney Hobgood won 2,068 votes (61 percent), defeating Cheryl Williams for Office No. 2. Williams claimed 1,304 votes (39 percent).

Marcus L. Jones won the race for Office No. 5, earning 2,534 votes (51 percent) to Michael Grande’s 2,482 votes (49 percent).
