YUKON — A Yukon man is behind bars, facing multiple child pornography charges.

David White was booked into the Canadian County jail Friday night.

He is facing aggravated possession of child pornography and distribution of child pornography, which could carry a life in prison sentence if convicted.

White was arrested at his apartment in the 300 block of Pointe Parkway Blvd in Yukon.

“The suspect, David White, was downloading and distributing child pornography, not just in Oklahoma, not just in Canadian County, but all over the world,” Lt. Adam Flowers with the Canadian County Sheriff’s Office said.

Authorities began looking into White’s activities after receiving information from the National Internet Crimes Against Children Network.

Once they had a search warrant, Flowers said they found more than 700 images and videos of child pornography on White’s computer.

“Age ranges of female children, five to seven, nine years old, engaging in sexual acts,” Flowers said. “It’s a shock. Mr. White was cooperative but obviously in shock that we were there.”

Flowers said authorities also found articles of children’s clothing at the residence and toys were found in the suspect’s bedroom.

White is not married and has no children of his own.

The Canadian County Sheriff’s Office is looking into the owner and origin of the clothing and toys found at the apartment.

White is being held on a $151,500 bond.
