Authorities said money may have been the motive behind the murder of a Yukon native in England.

Police were called to a home in Oxfordshire on Saturday after neighbors heard screams coming from the area.

When officers arrived, they found 31-year-old Janee Parsons with multiple stab wounds.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police arrested 38-year-old Andrew Parsons on suspicion of murder and say they are not looking for any other suspects in connection to the crime.

Officials say the couple’s two boys were at home during the murder, and may have witnessed the attack.

Neighbors say the family had been under financial pressure, which may have led to the fight.

The children will now be taken care of by Janee’s family in Yukon.
