OKLAHOMA CITY -- Sunbeam Family Services is partnering with Catholic Charities OKC to put together a Christmas store for local families in need.

The store, St. Nick's Shoppe , will be open from Dec. 16-20.

But the organization needs some help.

They are asking for donations of bicycles, dolls and Barbie’s, scooters, skate boards, wagons, men’s and women’s coats, kitchen appliances and gift cards.

Your donations will help more than 500 local families who, otherwise, would not be able to buy presents.

Here's how you can help:

  1. Make a cash donation or choose an item(s) to donate. In addition to the items listed on the shopping list, gift cards and cash donations will be accepted, enabling additional items to be purchased.
  2. Drop purchased items with tags still attached at Catholic Charities, 1501 Classen Blvd., Oklahoma City. The dates for drop off are: December 6, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and December 7-8, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

St. Nick's Shoppe will be located at Catholic Charities, 1501 N. Classen Boulevard, directly across the street from Sunbeam Family Services.

Those selected through Sunbeam will get to "shop" at absolutely no cost.
