Oklahoma State's women's basketball team led Baylor early, but quickly fell behind and never led again as the Lady Bears beat OSU 65-61 in the semifinals of the Big 12 Women's Basketball Tournament at Chesapeake Arena in Oklahoma City on Sunday afternoon.

The Cowgirls struggled offensively, making just 36 percent of their shots, and fell behind by nine at halftime, 31-22.

OSU never got closer than three in the second half, in losing to Baylor for the second straight year in the semifinals.

Brittney Martin and Kendra Suttles led the Cowgirls with 11 points each.

Martin grabbed 15 rebounds as well.

Senior point guard Tiffany Bias had 9 points, but made just 3 of 11 shots.

Baylor wasn't great on offense either.

The Lady Bears were led by Big 12 Freshman of the Year Nina Davis's 18 points, while All-American Odyssey Sims added 17 points.

Sims had a tough shooting day as well, making just 6 of 22 from the field and missing all five three-point attempts.

Oklahoma State drops to 23-8 on the season and will await their NCAA Tournament fate when the selections are announced on March 17th.

Baylor advances to the championship game on Monday night at 8:00 to play the winner of the second semifinal between West Virginia and Texas.
