Cowboys Shut Out Huskers in NCAA Regional Opener

Oklahoma State got a four-RBI performance from Conor Costello, and 7 innings of shutout pitching from Thomas Hatch to beat Nebraska 6-0 in the opening round of the NCAA regional in Clemson, South Carolina, on Friday, June 3.

Costello singled home runs in the first and fourth innings, and hit a two-run home run in the third inning to provide most of the OSU offense.

Hatch did the rest on the mound, striking out 10 and scattering six hits in his seven innings of work to get the win.

Trey Cobb pitched the final two shutout innings as OSU improved to 37-20 on the season.

The Cowboys will play the host team Clemson at 6:00 central time on Saturday, June 4.
