Oklahoma State’s men’s basketball team forced 18 Kansas turnovers and upset the eighth-ranked Jayhawks 67-62 on Saturday at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater.
Four Cowboys were in double figure scoring, led by Le’Bryan Nash’s 18 points.
Anthony Hickey had 15 points and knocked down two three-pointers.
Phil Forte added 13 points and Jeff Newberry 10.
There were five ties and five lead changes in the game, and OSU had to overcome poor shooting from three-point range, where they made just 3 of 16.
Kansas hit 10 of 20 beyond the arc, but were just 10 of 19 at the free throw line.
OSU improves to 16-7 overall, 6-5 in Big 12 play.
The Cowboys have won two straight after their second Bedlam loss, and will visit Baylor Monday night at 6:00 at the Ferrell Center in Waco, Texas.
