Former Southmoore and Sooner Standout Signs With Redskins

KFOR sports has learned that former Southmoore and OU quarterback Kendal Thompson has signed a three year deal with the Washington Redskins as a wide receiver.
Thompson begins life in the NFL on Thursday, July 28, when Washington starts camp.
The former quarterback switched positions to receiver while preparing to play his final college game at Utah.
He worked out at both positions for NFL scouts leading up to the draft.
He was not drafted but, recently went through a brief workout for the Redskins which led to them signing him.
Kendal is the son of former OU quarterback Charles Thompson, and his two younger brothers, Casey and Cade, play at Southmoore High School.
