More All-American Honors for State Stars

More All-America honors came in Tuesday for some of our state’s college football stars.

The Sporting News, one of the five organizations whose All-America team is recognized by the NCAA, released its team.

Oklahoma had three first team picks and one second team pick by the Sporting News.

Quarterback Baker Mayfield, tackle Orlando Brown, and tight end Mark Andrews all made first team, with linebacker Ogbonnia Okoronkwo making second team.

Oklahoma State wide receiver James Washington was a first team selection as well.

ESPN released its first team All-America team on Tuesday as well, with all four of those from the state of Oklahoma who made first team on the Sporting News also making ESPN’s team.
