OMAHA, Neb. -- Greetings from the banks of the Missouri River, where the famous American explorers once landed all the way back in 1804.

Omaha will also be a bit of a crossroads for Oregon star Joe Young this weekend, who recently won his conference's Player of the Year award and has several ties to the Cowboys. He  played for OSU Assistant Coach James Dickey when they were both at the at the University of Houston and is buddies with Texas native Le'Bryan Nash.

"I used to play AAU against him all the time and we used to hang out all the time," Young says of Nash. "He's a good guy, one of my closest friends from high school, and (sic) beyond looking forward to playing him again."

While those two keep it friendly, the pressure is on OU, OSU, Kansas and West Virginia to win a game for the Big 12 tomorrow.
