The Sooners are the #6 seed and will play the #11 seed Purdue on Saturday, March 19, at 12:30 central time.

The Sooners are 21-10 on the season and are facing a Purdue team that is 20-11.

The Boilermakers are making their 25th NCAA Tournament appearance in the last 28 years.

Purdue finished sixth in the Big Ten with a 10-8 conference record.

The  winner of the OU-Purdue game advances to the second round on Monday to play the winner of Saturday’s second first round game between host Kentucky and UNC-Asheville.
