Sooner Women Lose Eighth Straight To Baylor

The Oklahoma women’s basketball team cut a 32 point lead to single digits before falling to Baylor 96-89 for the eighth straight time.

Aaryn Ellenberg paced OU with 29 points, after missing the last two games with concussion symptoms, and helped the Sooners outscore Baylor 46-20 during a second half stretch before the Lady Bears put the game away.

OU’s Nicole Kornett had 16 points and pulled down a career-high tying nine rebounds off the bench.

Baylor’s Odyssey Sims led the game with 38 points.

OU travels to TCU on Saturday, March 1, tip off is set for 7:00 p.m. CT.
