It's been a point of frustration for many Big 12 fans this season, the College Football Playoff rankings.

So far, the committee has yet to put a team from the conference into the top four...that is until tonight.

The latest College Football Playoff rankings feature the Oklahoma Sooners in at number 3.

CFB Playoff committee chair Jeff Long said of the Sooners, "In our view, Oklahoma is better than Iowa." He also added the Sooners were solidly in control of the TCU game when Baker Mayfield exited with a head injury. Oklahoma is 6-0 against teams with records above .500 this year.

Oklahoma will be crowned Big 12 champions with a Bedlam win Saturday.

Oklahoma State drops to 11 after their first loss of the season to seventh ranked Baylor. OSU is still alive for the Big 12 title as long as they beat Oklahoma Saturday and Baylor loses one of their two remaining games.
