Southwestern Christian University officially introduced Dave Bliss as the school's new men's basketball coach on Wednesday, April 8.

SCU is Bliss' first college head coaching job since being banned from coaching by the NCAA for a decade after resigning from Baylor amidst scandal in 2003.

The 71-year-old won 525 games over a 28 year career coaching college basketball.

Oklahomans will remember Bliss from his days leading OU from 1975-80.

He becomes just the third head men's basketball coach in the school's history.

Bliss spent the last five years at Allen Academy, a private high school in Bryan, Texas, serving as the school's athletic director and basketball coach.

The former Sooners head man won a Texas Christian Athletic League state title in each of his five years.
