State Teams Drop in Hoops Polls

All three of our state’s ranked Big 12 teams dropped in the latest college basketball rankings.

The Oklahoma State men fell to 11th in the Associated Press poll and 12th in the coaches poll after losing their Big 12 opener at Kansas State.

The Cowboys had been ranked 6th in both polls before the loss.

The OSU women dropped to 15th from 11th in the AP poll after losing at home to West Virginia on Saturday night.

The Oklahoma women dropped out of the AP top 25 after losing their Big 12 home opener to unbeaten Iowa State on Sunday afternoon.

The OU men have not been ranked this season, but are receiving votes in both polls.
