Cowgirl Stars Lead Way to Win Over Kansas

Oklahoma State’s women’s basketball team got big games from three veteran players in an 80-76 win over Kansas on Saturday night at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater.

Liz Donohoe had 22 points and hit two 3-pointers, Brittney Martin had 21 points and 10 rebounds, and LaShawn Jones 19 points and 8 rebounds.

Roshunda Johnson was also in double figures with 10 points.

The Cowgirls and Jayhawks had 7 ties and 10 lead changes.

OSU  committed just six turnovers and overcame nine KU three-pointers.

Oklahoma State improved to 18-8 overall, 8-7 in Big 12 play.

The Cowgirls now own sole possession of third place in the Big 12 standings.

OSU visits Texas for a 7:00 tipoff Wednesday night in Austin.
