Cowgirls Fall at Home to TCU

Oklahoma State’s women’s basketball team was outshot at home by TCU and lost to the Horned Frogs 71-62 on Saturday afternoon at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater.

TCU hit 51 percent of their shots and held OSU to just 2-for-10 from three-point range.

Brittney Martin led the Cowgirls with 15 points and 9 rebounds.

TCU forced 18 Cowgirl turnovers and outscored OSU 20-11 off turnovers.

Two other OSU players were in double figure scoring, with LaShawn Jones scoring 13 points and Kaylee Jensen 11.

Zahna Medley led TCU with 24 points and hit five 3-pointers.

The Cowgirls fall to 12-6 on the season, 2-5 in conference play.

OSU visits Kansas State Wednesday night for a 7:00 tipoff at Bramlage Coliseum.
