Defense Dominates OSU Spring Game

Oklahoma State's defensive unit combined to force four turnovers and sacked Cowboy quarterbacks seven times as the Black team beat the Orange team 23-7 in OSU's annual spring game.

Offensively, Taylor Cornelius led the way.

The walk on quarterback completed nine of fourteen passes for 192 yards and two touchdowns.

Starting signal caller Mason Rudolph was 17-23 through the air for 105 yards an interception and no touchdowns.

Rennie Childs led the Pokes ground attack with eight rushes for 38 yards.

Defensively, Devante Averett led OSU both squads with eight tackles and also forced a fumble.

Justin Phillips also had an impressive effort defensively with seven total tackles and an interception.
