Former OU running back DeMarco Murray has agreed to sign a contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Murray leaves the Dallas Cowboys, where he had played his first four seasons in the NFL, to join former Sooner teammate Sam Bradford in Philly.

Bradford was traded from St. Louis to Philadelphia earlier this week.

Murray and Bradford are good friends, and Bradford said he called and texted Murray, who contacted the Eagles on his own after Philadelphia acquired Bradford.

ESPN is reporting Murray’s contract is a five-year deal worth $42 million.
