The larger high schools in Oklahoma began the state baseball tournaments on Thursday in both the Tulsa area and OKC area.

In Class 6A, Broken Arrow beat Deer Creek 2-1 and Jenks edged Westmoore 1-0.

In Class 5A, Pryor beat Piedmont, 4-2.
