Nazr Mohammed returns to Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder have officially announced the signing of center Nazr Mohammed. The move fills OKC's 15th and final roster spot.

This is Mohammed's second stint with the Thunder. He played in OKC from 2010-2012. He's appeared in more than 1,000 career games over 17 years in the NBA.

It's not clear how much, if any, playing time the veteran will receive. However, he's immediately expected to be a presence in the locker room given his relationship with a lot of the players on the team.

Mohammed said of his experience, "As you get older, you see things...You can pass that can teach (young players) through your experience."

He added about joining the Thunder, "From what I've seen, there's a chance to go out the way I want to as far as competing for a championship."
