OKC Energy Falls in Western Conference Final

The Los Angeles Galaxy II scored a pair of first half goals and held off the OKC Energy in the second half to win 2-1 in the USL Western Conference Final Sunday night, October 11 at Taft Stadium in Oklahoma City.

The Galaxy got a goal in the sixth minute from Ariel Lassiter, then added another in the 25th minute from Andre Auras to lead 2-0 at halftime.

The Energy got a goal in the 65th minute from Coady Andrews on a header off a pass from Sebastian Dalgaard to cut the deficit to 2-1, but the Energy could not muster another goal and 2-1 was the final.

A crowd of 7,654, an Energy record, was at Taft to watch OKC compete for a spot in the USL final.

The Galaxy will face Rochester in the USL Championship Game.
