OU volleyball player to perform National Anthem at Final Four

HOUSTON, Texas- If you are in town and plan on attending the Final Four, you may recognize one of the singers who will perform the National Anthem on Saturday evening before tipoff.

The NCAA announced on Saturday morning that four student athletes would be lending their talents to perform the National Anthem prior to the Final Four games.

Every team that is a part of the Final Four will be represented by one singer.

Syracuse University will be represented by Chevis Armstead II, who is a part of the Syracuse men’s track and field team.

Karlie Crispin, a member of the women’s basketball team, will represent Villanova, while Nico Melo, a member of the men’s soccer team, is representing the University of North Carolina.

Madison Ward, a member of the women’s volleyball team, will also represent the University of Oklahoma.

Tipoff for the OU’s game against Villanova is set for 5:09 p.m.

The game will be broadcast on TBS.
