Deion Sanders, known as “Prime Time” in his NFL days, made a surprise appearance at a local high school on Friday, Nov. 14.

Sanders was at Crossings Christian School to surprise senior football player Christian Osterhout, who is one of six finalists for the NFL’s “Together We Make Football” contest.

Osterhout is playing his senior season after the death of both of his parents recently, his mother just this season.

Osterhout moved in with head coach Chris Roberts, and Roberts’ wife Sarah submitted a video telling Osterhout’s story.

NFL Films even shot a story recently on Osterhout, who along with his teammates, will play in their first playoff game on Friday night at home against Hominy.

Osterhout will be on the Today show on Friday, Nov. 21, as one of the finalists.

The winner of the “Together We Make Football” contest gets a trip to the Super Bowl in Glendale, Arizona, this season.

Fans will vote online on which finalist should win starting Nov. 21.
