OKLAHOMA CITY – Fans of the Oklahoma City Thunder may see a new face to the lineup next season.

According to a report, the Oklahoma City Thunder has agreed to sign former lottery pick Sebastian Telfair to a one-year veteran’s minimum contract.

Telfair, a point guard, will return to the NBA after playing last season in China.

The one-time high school USA ‘Mr. Basketball’ selection spent the first 10 years of his pro career with eight different NBA teams.

Coming out of high school, the Brooklyn native was one of the most sought after prospects in the country.

Telfair initially committed to the University of Louisville, but turned pro and was taken 13th overall in the 2004 NBA draft by the Portland Trailblazers.

The 29-year-old has a career average of 7.4 points, 1.6 rebounds and 3.5 assists.
