EDMOND, Okla. - One Oak Tree family has seen it all. Residents in the neighborhood for more than 30 years, Nan and Bill Barnes have a front row seat to the U.S. Senior Open.

Nan Barnes said, "Every time we think about downsizing and moving we chicken out. We can't leave."

Who could when the greens at Oak Tree are your backyard

Bill and Nan Barnes have lived here at Oak Tree for more than 30 years.

Paying just $40,000 at the time, their lot was the first one purchased. It was a bit of luck which fell in Bill's lap.

Bill Barnes said, "He (his friend) said I've got Charlie Cole's proxy and he's got number one. So, he gave it to me."

And he knew exactly which lot he wanted.

Bill said, "It was bigger. It was an acre. I could see the lakes to the end of the course."

They've watched numerous tournaments come through the neighborhood.

Nan said, "If it cools off a little we'll be on the porch."

Seeing the pros in action from their own backyard.

The Barnes expect they will have quite a few friends join them to watch the tournament over the next few days.
