In preparation for the 2014 US Senior Open, Jeff Sluman  returned to Oak Tree National for the first time for longer than a day since his 1988 PGA Championship win.

Sluman is back to try to win the third major the Edmond course has hosted.

The New York native already has one major title to his name on the Champions Tour, the 2014 Senior Player's Championship.

Sluman has six Champions Tour wins over the last seven years.

The 56-year-old is playing some good golf as of late.

Sluman was recently named the Champions Tour player of the month after picking up a win and three top six finishes in June 2014.

Watch the story above to hear Sluman's thoughts on returning to Oak Tree National.
