Sooners and Cowgirls Ranked in AP Preseason Poll

Both Oklahoma and Oklahoma State are ranked in the Associated Press preseason women’s college basketball top 25 poll released on Friday.

The Sooners are ranked 11th, with the Cowgirls 21st.

The two state schools are among four Big 12 teams ranked in the top 25, with Baylor #10 and Iowa State #23.

Reigning national champion Connecticut is the unanimous pick as the number one team, receiving all 36 first place votes.

Both OU and OSU open their season on Friday, November 8th.

Oklahoma will host Stetson at 7:00 that night in the first round of the preseason WNIT, while OSU will host Lamar at 11:00 am that day.
