The University of Oklahoma basketball program held its fourth annual alumni basketball game on Saturday, August 23.

Players from eight different decades, dating back to the 1940’s, showed up and played in the festivities.

OU recognized their 40 members of the 1,000 point club.

Stacey King, Darryl “Choo” Kennedy, Gar Heard, Terry Stotts, John McCullough, Ebi Ere and Aaron McGhee were some of the top former Sooners on hand.

Ere led the game in scoring for the second straight year and lead the Crimson team to a 99-96 win over the Cream team.

Former OU coach Billy Tubbs and former referee Ed Hightower were courtside and reminisced about their famous technical 25 years later.

The weekend also featured a golf tournament and scholarship fund dinner.
