Back on October 10, it would have been hard to find many Sooner fans who really thought Oklahoma's football team would have a chance at a national championship.

OU had just lost to Texas and still had a very difficult schedule left to play.

Since then, the Sooners have won seven in a row, many of those by large margins, and beat three ranked teams in three weeks, with wins over Baylor, TCU, and Oklahoma State.

Now OU appears to be a lock to make the four-team College Football Playoff.

The final rankings come out Sunday, December 6, and that's when the Sooners will find out what seed they are, who they will play in the national semifinals, and where it will be played.

It's been quite a run, but it hasn't been easy, and OU knows they still have two more games to win to take the national championship.
