Spangler and Hield Lead OU in Win Over TCU

Ryan Spangler had 21 points and Buddy Hield had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds in Oklahoma’s  68-56 win over TCU on Saturday at the Wilkerson-Greines Athletic Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

Spangler made 9 of 12 shots on his way to his point total, while Hield hit two 3-pointers and grabbed all 10 of his rebounds on the defensive end.

Isaiah Cousins was also in double figures with 11 points.

OU held TCU to just 32 percent field goal shooting and outscored them despite the Horned Frogs taking 21 more shots than the Sooners.

Oklahoma improved to 16-7 overall, 7-4 in Big 12 play.

The Sooners host Iowa State in an ESPN Big Monday game on February 9 at 8:00 at the Lloyd Noble Center.
