Thunder Finish Off Mavs in Fourth Quarter

The Oklahoma City Thunder made several key plays down the stretch, including a pair on the defensive end, to hold off the Dallas Mavericks for a 117-114 win on Sunday night, November 22, at Chesapeake Arena.

Russell Westbrook got a slam off a steal, which followed a Dion Waiters steal and layup, as OKC built a five point lead at 113-108.

Westbrook then finished off Dallas with a pair of jumpers, on his way to scoring 31 points,  with 11 assists, 5 rebounds, and 5 steals.

Serge Ibaka added 16 points and 9 rebounds, while Waiters and Anthony Morrow contributed 14 each.

Enes Kanter and Nick Collison were also in double figure scoring with 12 and 10 respectively.

Both teams shot the ball well, with OKC hitting 52 percent from the field and Dallas 53 percent.

The Thunder hit nine 3-pointers and the Mavericks knocked down 10.

Oklahoma City improved to 8-6 on the season.

They travel to play at Utah on Monday night, November 23, at 8:00 pm
