OKLAHOMA CITY – The NBA regular season ends Wednesday night for the #1 seed in the Western Confererence, the Oklahoma City Thunder. OKC hosts the Milwaukee Bucks at 7:00pm at the Chesapeake Energy Arena…but don’t expect to see the starting lineup play very many minutes. Since beating Sacramento 104-95 Tuesday and clinching the top seed in the West, the Thunder has nothing to play for in it’s finale. So starters Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and Co. should play the 1st Quarter, if that much, and then give way to the reserves.

The big news Wednesday night will be to see what happens with the other games to determine who the Thunder will meet in the first round of the playoffs, starting this weekend in Oklahoma City. As of now, the Thunder could play the L.A. Lakers, Houston or Utah in the best-of-7 game opening series and the match-up(s) will be decided once and for all at the completion of the regular season tonight. The one thing we DO know is: the Thunder will host a playoff game either Saturday or Sunday at “The Peake” TBA by the league.
