The Oklahoma City Thunder will play their only home game during a five-game stretch on Monday night when they host the Denver Nuggets at 7:00 at Chesapeake Arena.

Guard Russell Westbrook will not play in the game, as he has been resting during one game of a back-to-back set.

The Thunder play at Dallas on Tuesday night.

In the meantime, Thunder forward Kevin Durant was named the NBA’s Western Conference Player of the Week on Monday.

Durant is also being touted for Most Valuable Player honors by none other than Earvin “Magic” Johnson.

Johnson said Monday morning he believes the MVP race is over, and Durant has already wrapped it up, citing his high level of play that’s kept OKC near the top of the Western Conference while Westbrook has missed a lot of games due to injury.
